While watching the news, the Nohara family discovers the theft of two magical balls that have the power to awaken evil. While walking his dog Shiro, Shin-chan discovers an unconscious man near the lake. He greets the man as he wakes up and takes a shiny ball lying next to the man. Shin-chan returns home and while he is distracted, his sister Himawari swallows the ball.
